Swimming Pools / Spas

State Government legislation requires Council to ensure that private swimming pools and spas located within the Shire are protected in order to reduce danger risks to unsupervised children. As a result, Council Staff randomly inspect all pools and spas within the Shire to ensure pools are protected to the required standard.

For all new swimming pools and spas, installation legislation requires that a compliant barrier be erected to isolate the swimming pool and spa from the residence.
