    Vehicular crossovers, if constructed in accordance with Council’s specification, may attract a subsidy payment. Full details can be obtained from from Council’s Engineering Department.

    Roads

    Residents should report to the Engineering Department any damage to roads and footpaths, broken signs, obstructions or dangerous situations, to ensure prompt action and repair.

    Extractive Industries

    Before any quarrying (such as for rock, gravel, limestone or sand) is commenced, an application for a licence must first be lodged with Council. Details of requirements may be obtained from Council’s Engineering Department.

    Storm Water Construction

    Before commencing to construct stormwater outlets from your new or existing residence, please obtain the necessary requirements from Council’s Engineering Department.

    Street Lawns

    Inground reticulation is permitted on road verges subject to by-laws. Please contact Council's Engineering Department for details.

    Council has a policy regarding the sealing of verges utilising brick pavers or asphalt and the establishment of landscaped areas. Please note that unsealed limestone and gravel treatment is not permitted and may be removed by Council if installed on verges.

    Contact the Engineering Department on 08 9729 0360 regarding this policy if you are contemplating any works on the verge.
