Building Envelopes

Building Envelopes are created as part of the Planning process when a development is initially being designed.  These are designated areas where development is restricted to and are designed mainly to retain vegetation on a parcel of land. Building Envelopes are mainly in place on ‘Special Residential’ zoned landholdings (larger residential properties approximately 4,000m2).

Properties that have these Building Envelopes are found in localities such as Leschenault, Australind and Roelands. Development is not permitted outside these areas and clearing of vegetation is only permitted with the written approval of Council.
