Within the Shire of Harvey there are seven Caravan Parks and numerous camping grounds (these are managed by the Department of Environment and Conservation).
The Caravan Parks are inspected by Environmental Health Officers for compliance with the Caravan Parks and Camping Ground Act and Regulations. If you are considering constructing a patio, annexe, carport or any other structure you are required to apply for approval from Council (application forms and guidelines are in related documents). However prior to seeking Council approval please discuss your proposal with the caravan park manager.
