The Shire of Harvey adopted its 2020–2021 Budget at its Council meeting on 28 July 2020.
In recognition of the widespread hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no increases to the rate in the dollar, along with no increases on all fees and charges, including non-statutory fees and charges and admin fees for the 2020–2021 financial year.
Printing costs associated with any electronic submissions for building or planning applications from 1 March 2020 to 30 June 2021 will also be waived. There are no increases to rubbish charges or recreation centre fees for the next financial year.
Minimum rates have remained the same as the previous financial year – $1,080 per property.
