We invite you to submit your application for the casual position of Waste Facility Operator at the Richardson Road Waste Facility in Harvey.
This position is responsible for providing a comprehensive waste operations service to the community on a day to day and all weather basis in accordance with adopted management plans and as directed by the Manager Waste and Safety Services.
To be successful in this role you will be organised and have the ability to work autonomously in a team environment.

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Municipal Employees’ (WA) Award 2021 with a salary payable for this position of Level 3 up to $34.51 per hour inclusive of 20% casual loading. This positon is Monday to Sunday. Ordinary hours of work performed on a Saturday shall be paid an extra 25% and 50% on a Sunday.
Prior to appointment, the Officer will be required to undertake a medical examination with a Doctor of choice at Shire’s cost. The appointment to the position is not confirmed until a medical is completed including Shire’s standard questionnaire and accepted in accordance with Shire Policy.
A Police Clearance will be required to be provided to the Shire prior to confirmation of appointment not more than three months old, at the Shire’s cost.
