About the Show<\/span><\/h4>\n

FIFO is a theatre show about all things Fly In\/Fly Out. Following one full \u2018swing\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

of 5 mining employees, \u2018FIFO\u2019 delivers a full spectrum of experience, leaving<\/span><\/p>\n

audiences in uncontrollable laughter and teary reflection. The show offers a raw<\/span><\/p>\n

insight into the individuals, couples and families working around a \u2018FIFO\u2019 roster.<\/span><\/p>\n

As we follow the cast on their exploits, we gain insight into the cost-to-benefit<\/span><\/p>\n

ratio of the FIFO lifestyle. Each character\u2019s motivations and crutches are<\/span><\/p>\n

revealed, leading to both intense conflict and mate-ship, in what seems to be a<\/span><\/p>\n

very regular \u2018swing\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

Suddenly a 5th employee enters the fray, and she\u2019s here to shake… wait! It\u2019s a<\/span><\/p>\n

woman?!On site!?!? As the boys struggle to adjust to their new workplace<\/span><\/p>\n

dynamic, the industry itself is interrogated. The site becomes the fore-front of<\/span><\/p>\n

some serious allegations, and the very fabric of Australian society is put to the<\/span><\/p>\n

test. Drama becomes allegory as hard truths are revealed about Australia\u2019s long<\/span><\/p>\n

and tangled relationship with mining, and we\u2019re left with a decision to make: Is it<\/span><\/p>\n

time to cut ties from this toxic relationship? Or can we rebuild the very<\/span><\/p>\n

foundations of Australian Industry. Showcasing some of Perths most exciting<\/span><\/p>\n

talent, \u2018FIFO\u2019 combines enthralling drama, explosive physical theatre and<\/span><\/p>\n

touching personal stories to leave audiences with much and more to dig in to.<\/span><\/p>\n
