Aquatics Closed for 3 Weeks<\/h2>\n

To allow installation of the new HVAC air handling system<\/strong> to be completed safely and efficiently, the aquatic facilities will be closed to all users from Monday 6 April<\/strong>, with a scheduled reopening on\u00a0<\/span>Monday 27 April<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This work forms part of a $1.2 million investment<\/strong> in improving the indoor aquatic environment at Leschenault Leisure Centre.<\/p>\n

Why do it during school holidays?<\/h4>\n

There is never a good time to close any of our facilities or services. However, this period was selected as it will have the\u00a0<\/span>least impact on aquatic users<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What does this mean for you?<\/h4>\n
Swim School<\/h5>\n

There is\u00a0<\/span>no impact on our swim school students<\/strong>, as we have programmed our term of lessons around the pool closure.<\/p>\n

Aquatic Membership Holders<\/h5>\n

You have the option of\u00a0<\/span>suspending your membership<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>for the duration of the pool closure or using the\u00a0<\/span>gym and group fitness facilities instead<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Simply check in at Reception to register your attendance and we will issue you with a\u00a0<\/span>temporary access pass<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Full Access Membership Holders<\/h5>\n

Full access members can continue to use the\u00a0<\/span>gym, group fitness and squash courts<\/strong>, or suspend their membership during the closure.<\/p>\n

Aqua Fitness Classes<\/h5>\n

If you would like to keep moving while the pool is closed, our Group Fitness program<\/strong> offers a range of classes to help keep you active during this time.<\/p>\n

We know this disruption to our aquatic users is frustrating, but the short-term inconvenience will deliver long-term improvements to the pool environment<\/strong>. We appreciate your understanding.<\/p>\n
