TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
LESCHENAULT RECREATION PARK PAVILION
Tenders are invited from qualified and experienced builders for the construction of a new Sports Pavilion at Leschenault Recreation Park in Australind.
A copy of the tender specifications is available by contacting the Shire of Harvey's Buildng Department on (08) 9729 0300 during normal office hours.
Tenders close at 2.00pm on Tuesday, 21st May 2013 at Council's Administration Centre, 102 Uduc Road, Harvey. Mailing address PO Box 500 Harvey 6220.
Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Tender T042013 – Construction of Leschenault Recreation Park Pavilion.” Late tenders will not be considered. Electronic Mail and Facsimile Tenders will not be accepted.
The lowest price, or any tender, will not necessarily be accepted.
Personal canvassing of Councillors will automatically disqualify.

The Shire of Harvey has four public libraries located in Harvey, Australind, Binningup and Yarloop. Public Library Services in WA have a combined stock of more than two million items. Requests to borrow items from this stock can be made through the user friendly free inter-library loans system.

Encompassing an area of approximately 1,766 km2 and a growing population of 24, 901 (ABS, June 2011) the Shire of Harvey is located in the South West region of Western Australia, a leisurely one and a half hours drive from Perth.
The Shire of Harvey’s main Administration Centre is located on Uduc Road, Harvey and a Sub Administration Office on Mulgara Street, Australind.

Shire of Harvey - Budget Submissions and Community Benefits Package
Council invites budget submissions from local community, sporting and environmental groups and organisations for activities and projects that meet the needs of the Shire of Harvey community. The aim of the Shire Budget Submissions is to strengthen and celebrate the diverse communities within the Shire of Harvey. Each submission is considered on its own merits.
The Shire of Harvey Community Budget Submissions for 2013 have now closed. The next round of Submissions will be open in April 2014. For more information please contact the Shire of Harvey.
The Shire of Harvey invites nominations from local residents for its annual awards presentation. The awards are to recognise the outstanding ahcievements and significant contributions that individuals living in the Shire have made to their local communities.
Presentation of the awards will be held in June, with this years host town being Harvey.
Nominations for the 2013 Honour and Awards have now closed. The next round of nominations will be open in April 2014.
