The Shire of Harvey’s main Administration Centre is located on Uduc Road, Harvey and a Sub Administration Office on Mulgara Street, Australind.

The Shire of Harvey has prepared the following local planning policy:
Highly Reflective Materials Policy – The Policy is relevant to landowners with the intention of development within places identified as an area of landscape value. The Draft Policy contains provisions relating to the external building materials associated with development, particularly within properties adjacent to the South Western Highway, Old Coast Road and within the Darling Escarpment.
The Draft Local Planning Policy requires advertising in accordance with the requirements of District Planning Scheme No.1. Copies of the Draft Local Planning Policy can be downloaded from the link attached or obtained from Council’s Planning Department. Any comments must be made in writing and lodged with the Chief Executive Officer by no later than 4:00pm 19th March 2012. Submissions can be emailed to shire@harvey.wa.gov.au, sent via post to PO Box 500, Harvey WA 6220 or submitted in person at either out Australind or Harvey Administration Offices.
