The Shire of Harvey - A Breath of Fresh Air

Welcome to the Shire of Harvey Local Government website.

Encompassing an area of approximately 1,766 km and a growing population in excess of 23,500, the Shire of Harvey is located in the South West region of Western Australia, a leisurely one and a half hours drive from Perth.

Famous for its relaxed lifestyle, the Shire of Harvey boasts green pastures, rolling hills and pristine beaches. In contrast, Australind (pictured below) is a rapidly growing community and is a becoming a popular choice for new residents.

The Shire of Harvey’s main Administration Centre is located on Uduc Road, Harvey and a sub-office on Mulgara Street, Australind.
