Perfect for corporate and private functions, workshops and meetings, LLC’s function centre has two well-equipped function rooms.

Meeting Room

Equipped with tables, chairs, whiteboard, projector screen with laptop connectivity, the Sawyer Meeting Room is the ideal room for holding meetings, workshops, coaching courses and small seminars for 20 to 30 people.

Function Room

Comfortably seating 100 people and holding up to a maximum of 200 people, the Rutherford Function Room is an ideal size for holding weddings, cabarets, luncheons, dinners, meetings, conferences, seminars, quiz nights, presentation evenings and discos. The function room includes a separate kitchen, with two serving areas and a parquetry dance floor. ​​

Accessibility

Both the Rutherford Function Room and Sawyer Meeting Room are fully accessible.

Each room can be accessed either via our main centre entrance or through side access doors. Double doors also aid in ease of access to both rooms.

Fully accessible toilet facilities are also within close proximity to these rooms.

Fees, Terms and Conditions of Hire

Function room – during centre hours $59 per hour
Function room – out of hours $120 per hour
Function and conference room – during centre hours (both rooms) $370 per day
Conference room – during centre hours $42 per hour
Multipurpose Room (Tennis Pavilion) $36 per hour

The Shire of Harvey accepts no responsibility for any injury sustained by participants or non-participants while using the facilities, whether caused by themselves, another person or otherwise.

The Shire of Harvey is not liable for any loss of or damage to personal property brought into the Centre.

This disclaimer does not apply where injury, loss or damage is caused by the negligent or unlawful act or omission of the Shire of Harvey or its employees, officers, contractors or agents.

Bookings and Payment

All bookings must be confirmed prior to use.
Full payment is required prior to the booking unless otherwise arranged.

An additional Duty Manager fee may apply for bookings outside normal operating hours.
Regular users may be invoiced monthly in accordance with agreed arrangements.

Cancellations

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in the full hire fee being charged.

Use of Room

The meeting and function room is to be used only for the approved purpose and within the allocated booking times, including set-up and pack-down.

The hirer is responsible for ensuring the room is left clean, tidy, and in the same condition as found.

Damage

The hirer is responsible for any damage to the room, equipment or facilities caused during the hire period through misuse or negligence.

Any damage or maintenance issues must be reported to Centre staff as soon as practicable.

Behaviour

All users must behave in a safe, respectful and orderly manner.

The Centre Manager or Duty Officer reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person or group whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate or disruptive. This may result in cancellation of current or future bookings.

Alcohol and Smoking

Alcohol is not permitted within the Centre unless the appropriate liquor license has been obtained.

The Centre is a smoke-free facility.

Food and Beverage

Food and non-alcoholic beverages may be consumed in the meeting or function rooms unless otherwise advised. The hirer is responsible for all cleaning and waste removal.

Any catering must comply with relevant food safety requirements.  LLC does not offer catering services.

Equipment

Any Centre equipment used must be operated appropriately and left in good condition.

Hirers must not bring in electrical equipment unless it is safe, compliant, and in good working order.

Security

The hirer is responsible for the security of the room during the hire period and must follow all instructions provided by staff when entering and leaving the facility.

Medical and First Aid

First aid assistance is available from Centre staff if required. Emergency services will be contacted where necessary.

Any costs associated with medical treatment or ambulance services are the responsibility of the individual involved.

Emergency Procedures

In the event of an emergency or evacuation, all users must follow the directions of Centre staff and evacuate immediately when instructed.

Liability and Compliance

The hirer agrees to comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and directions from Centre staff while using the facility.

Acceptance

By proceeding with a booking, the hirer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
