Total Fire Ban

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services has declared a Total Fire Ban for the Shire of Harvey on Monday, 15 December 2025. For up-to-date information regarding Total Fire Bans and community warnings about emergencies, visit Emergency WA. 

Christmas Waste Collection

There will be no waste collection on Christmas Day, Thursday, 25 December 2025.

All collections will take place one day later than usual. 

Christmas and New Year Opening Hours

Shire’s Administration Centres in Australind and Harvey will be closed from 12noon on 24 December 2025 and will reopen on 5 January 2026. Other Shire of Harvey facilities may also be closed or have reduced operating hours during the festive period.
