Who says trying something new has an age limit? This Seniors Week, Leschenault Leisure Centre (LLC) is inviting local seniors to get moving, meet new people and have a bit of fun with a week of FREE activities.
Whether you’re keen to make a splash, try your hand at pickleball, build your strength or give something new a go, there’s an activity waiting for you.
Something for everyone
Throughout Seniors Week, participants can enjoy a range of free activities at LLC, including:
- Aqua Fitness – make a splash, get moving and enjoy the benefits of exercising in the water.
- Pickleball – give this fun, social sport a go. You might even discover a competitive streak you didn’t know you had!
- Living Legends – build strength and confidence to help you keep doing the things you love.
- Chair Fit – enjoy movement at your own pace in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Never tried any of these activities before? That’s all the more reason to give them a go!
You don’t need to be super-fit, know all the moves or have previous experience. Just bring yourself and a willingness to have a go.

It’s about more than exercise
Staying active is important, but so is staying connected. At LLC, we know that getting involved can be about much more than physical activity. It’s an opportunity to meet people, share a laugh, build confidence and feel part of your local community.
Seniors Week is the perfect opportunity to try something different, reconnect with an activity you enjoy or discover a new favourite.
You might find your fit in the pool, on the pickleball court, in the gym or in a chair fitness class. You might even find a few new mates along the way.
