Roadwork Notices

From 31 March to 16 April, works will continue with kerbing and layback improvements, including an asphalt overlay from Hester Street to the end of the cul-de-sac on Cooper Street.

Traffic control will be on site to assist motorists and pedestrians safely through the work area.

This closure will facilitate culvert maintenance works on the existing bridge.

Please follow detours in place and drive safe.

During this time, an asphalt overlay and concrete crossover will be installed.

Traffic management will be in place.

The Shire of Harvey will conduct road improvements on Railway Parade (between Clifton Road and School Road) from 21 April to 18 May 2026.

Project Scope:

• Earthworks on both sides of the road.

• Drainage installation and new curbing on the western side.

Resident Impact:

• During the works, full road closures (between 9am and 2.30pm) and two way shuttle flow traffic management will be implemented for public and worker safety.

• Access: Property access will be maintained, though traffic management and detours will be in place for school and local transit.

• Driveways: Some driveways will be temporarily removed and reinstated “like-for-like” as soon as possible.

• Traffic Management: Traffic Management and detours will be in place when necessary for access to allow access to Yarloop School and surrounding areas.
