Turf weed spraying commencing on 30 August 2021 throughout the Shire.
As part of the Shire's maintenance program, turf weed spraying will start throughout the Shire on 30 August 2021.
Weed spraying will be undertaken in public open spaces and recreational areas in Treendale, Kingston, Galway Green and Lakeshore Estate.
Works are expected to continue until 20 September 2021 (weather dependent), utilising an appropriate selective herbicide as per relevant Work Health and Safety legislation.
Signage is always erected when works are being carried out and we ask residents to avoid the areas while they are being sprayed.
