$605,000 awarded to 39 community groups across the Shire in the 2021-2022 Budget.

The Shire conducts an annual grant funding program to provide financial support to not for profit community organisations and groups in the Shire.

Shire of Harvey President Paul Gillett said the Shire is passionate about supporting community groups to help increase community involvement.

“Each year we receive many applications for a diverse range of community projects. This year we awarded 39 grants worth $605,000 from three different grant funds.

“These grants help strengthen and celebrate the diverse community we have in the Shire,” Cr Gillett said.
