Household Recycling Drop Off Point in Harvey

Household Recycling Drop Off Point in Harvey
16 Sep 2021

A new household recycling unit is now available at the Harvey Administration Centre.

A new household recycling unit is now available at the Harvey Administration Centre.

Shire residents can drop off their difficult to recycle items, such as:

  • Old household batteries, including button batteries and power tool batteries.
  • E-waste including mobile phones and accessories. E-waste components are almost entirely recyclable (so long as they are kept out of the landfill). Make sure to erase your phone before disposing of it. Old phones that have some life left in them may be fixed and put to good use.
  • Coffee pods. Single-use pods cannot be recycled via your yellow recycling bin.

We encourage all residents to dispose of the above items responsibly by dropping them off to the Harvey Administration Centre during office hours Monday to Friday from 9am to 4 pm.

The Australind Administration Centre has a drop off point for small e-waste, small household batteries and mobile phones.

If you have small household items that are hard to recycle and you are looking for a solution, let us know, as we are looking into expanding the unit in the future.
