The community is invited to have their say on the Ridley Place Foreshore Master Plan Update.
The Shire of Harvey will host a Pop-up event in May to gather public feedback.
The Ridley Place Foreshore Master Plan was first adopted by the Shire of Harvey Council in 2014.
So far, a number of milestones have been reached, including:
- Construction of two new finger jetties
- Upgrade of the existing boat ramp
- Reconfiguration and upgrade of the southern car park and construction of the northern car park
- Upgrade of Old Coast Road to provide a safe crossing point into the reserve, including improved streetscape
- Provision of a sewer connection for the future proposed kiosk/toilet/restaurant facility
- Council endorsement of a footprint of a cafe/restaurant development
- Demolition of existing play area
- Construction of a new nature based play space, Karragarup
- Seating, landscaping, paths and shelter added
- Irrigation filtration system installed
