Bridge Closure on Forestry Road

As of Friday, 10 November 2023, the Forestry Road Bridge 3716 is closed until further notice.

As a safety precaution, Bridge 3716 on Forestry Road, Uduc (over Mangosteen Drain, c.800 metres east of Myalup Road) has been temporarily closed to all traffic by Main Roads for emergency repairs. 

A routine inspection of the Water Corporation-owned bridge identified a serious structural issue. As a priority, Water Corporation is working on a solution for the repairs, which will be carried out as soon as possible.

Traffic management is in place, redirecting all vehicles along Marriott Road to the south, and Riverdale Road to the north (refer to the map below).

The bridge, which was built in 1975, will need to remain closed until repairs are completed.
