The Bunbury Outer Ring Road project is now 62 per cent complete.
Crews have been sealing road sections and steady progress has been made at various bridges along the alignment. In the northern section, the Clifton Road/Paris Road interchange has all beams installed and the deck pour has been completed. At the Raymond Road interchange, bridge works such as the guard rails, balustrades, median and abutment painting has been completed. Preparation for the pavement installation up towards and over the bridge is underway. Following these works, the wearing course layer of the bridge – which is the layer designed to withstand the wear and tear of high traffic volumes – will be installed.
