We are now in the Unrestricted Burning Period.

There are no fire restrictions on burning until 1 November 2025. However, if the Fire Danger Rating is High or above and/or a Total Fire Ban has been put in place then no burning is permitted.

Shire services will close early on Friday, 8 December 2023.

The following Shire services will close early on Friday, 8 December:

  • Administration Centres in Australind and Harvey will close at 12noon.
  • Libraries in Australind and Harvey will close at 12.30pm for rest of the day.  
  • Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre will close at 12.30pm. The 24/7 gym will remain open.
  • Richardson Road Waste Management Facility will close at 12noon. 

Leschenault Leisure Centre will operate as normal.

Please use online payments and licensing services during the closure.
