Access and Inclusion Update
01 Sep 2023

The Shire of Harvey’s Access and Inclusion Plan has been in full swing since it was adopted by Council in 2021.

The Shire of Harvey’s Access and Inclusion Plan has been in full swing since it was adopted by Council on 27 July, 2021.

Even Better, Together 2021-2026 is a dynamic blueprint that details the Shire’s plans to become the most accessible community in regional Western Australia.

These plans are supported by strategic partnerships with key organisations and community members that help guide the Shire's access and inclusion initiatives.

Co-Design Panel

The Shire of Harvey is looking for people to join our Co Design Panel.

The Panel is for people living with disability, caring for someone with disability or working in the disability support space.

Panel members will share their experiences and advice with Shire Officers working on key projects in the Harvey Region. This will ensure initiatives and activities in the Shire are fully accessible.

Access and Inclusion Advisory Group

The Shire of Harvey Access and Inclusion Group is another way for the community to share opinions on improving the Harvey Region for people with disability.

Group members include Shire of Harvey Councillors and staff, who meet quarterly with community members.
