Australia Day Public Holiday Operating Hours

Closures

The Shire’s administration centres and libraries will be closed on Monday, 27 January 2025 for the Australia Day public holiday. 

The Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre will be closed on Sunday, 26 January 2025 for Australia Day and Monday, 27 January 2025 for the Australia Day public holiday (the HRCC 24/hr gym will remain open).

Facilities with adjusted hours

• Leschenault Leisure Centre: open from 8am to 12noon.
• Dr Peter Topham Memorial Swimming Pool: open from 12noon to 6pm.

Waste Services

• Bin collection service will operate as normal.
• Richardson Road Waste Management Facility: open as usual.
• Stanley Road Waste Management Facility: closed.
