The Brunswick Junction Men’s Shed Extension is continuing to progress.
Earthworks for the project commenced in May 2026 and the building is now beginning to take shape.
Supported by a $50,000 grant from the Shire of Harvey, the extension will provide additional space to support the Shed’s growing membership and activities.
The project includes a dedicated internal storeroom to improve workshop safety and functionality, an expanded office area for meetings and administrative tasks, and a separate dust-free social space.
The new social area will provide a suitable environment for members to connect and will support participation from members with high support needs and home-school students.
The Brunswick Junction Men’s Shed Extension was partially funded through the 2025 Shire of Harvey Community Grants Program.
