Rehabilitation and widening works will take place along South Western Highway in Brunswick Junction from 14 September until early December 2026.
Works will progress one section at a time between 6.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend works may also be scheduled where works affect access to local businesses.
The project area includes the intersection of Papps Road.
During the works, road users can expect:
- Temporary speed restrictions.
- Single lane closures.
- Increased travel times.
- Traffic management and signage in place to safely guide road users through the area.
Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time and follow all traffic management signage while travelling through the work area.
