The Shire of Harvey is looking for a volunteer to help host the Forget-Me-Not Café at Australind Library.
The Forget-Me-Not Café provides a welcoming space for people living with dementia, memory loss and their carers, to connect and enjoy tea and coffee, tabletop games and social connection in a relaxed environment.
The role would suit someone who enjoys connecting with people, helping others feel welcome and making a positive contribution to their local community.
The volunteer will need to be available from 10am to 12pm on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at Australind Library.
The role is supported by the Shire of Harvey Community Development team and training is provided.

The Forget-Me-Not Café complements the Memory Café in Harvey, which provides another regular opportunity for people living with dementia, their families and carers to connect. The Memory Café at Harvey Connect meets fortnightly on Wednesdays.
