Roadwork Notices

Andromeda Road and Apollo Lane in Treendale will be temporarily closed from Wednesday, 19 March to Monday, 24 March to accommodate underground drilling works.

The roads will be closed to general through traffic between 7am and 5pm each weekday, however local resident access will be maintained.

Please follow the detours in place and drive safely. Enquiries can be directed to Key Civil during business hours on 9745 0699.

The Old Coast Road intersection at Travers Drive and Cathedral Avenue is being upgraded. 

These works will include service location (potholing) and cable installation.

Main construction works, including road widening, new medians, footpaths, street lighting and line marking, are scheduled to start Monday, 23 February 2026.

All works are expected to be completed by late March 2026.

Hymus Lane will be closed to all traffic from Meloy Lane to Laura Avenue from Monday, 16 February for approximately 3 weeks.

Reconstruction works will commence on 16 March on Cooper Street cul-de-sac, including drainage works and laybacks on Galvin Street South.

From 31 March to 16 April, works will continue with kerbing and layback improvements, including an asphalt overlay from Hester Street to the end of  the cul-de-sac on Cooper Street.

Traffic control will be on site to assist motorists and pedestrians safely through the work area.
