Please see below upcoming roadworks in the Harvey Region. 

Old Coast Road, Dawe StreetWestern Power advises that Old Coast Road in Australind will experience temporary traffic disruptions, and Dawe Street will be closed between Old Coast Road and Anna Road from Thursday, 25 June to Friday, 26 June 2026.

These works are being undertaken by Western Power to maintain essential power infrastructure and ensure the ongoing safety and reliability of the electricity network.

Details:

  • Location: Old Coast Road (between Rothesay Crescent and Lisa Road) and Dawe Street (between Old Coast Road and Anna Road), Australind.
  • Dates: Thursday, 25 June and Friday, 26 June 2026
  • Working hours: 7.30am to 3pm, Thursday and Friday. 

How this affects you:

  • Traffic on Old Coast Road will be temporarily stopped for short periods during the works. Motorists should expect delays.
  • Dawe Street will be closed between Old Coast Road and Anna Road. Detours will be in place and motorists should follow all traffic management signage.
  • Access to properties within the closure area will be maintained via the Dawe Street and Anna Road intersection. Access to Dawe Street from Old Coast Road will be unavailable during the works.
  • Noise levels may increase during working hours. Western Power will make every effort to minimise disruption.

Government RoadGovernment Road in Harvey will be closed between Leitch Road and Rodgers Road from Monday, 22 June until Friday, 3 July 2026.

This closure will facilitate construction works on Water Corporation Bridge 299 (MRWA 3736A).

Traffic management:

The road closure will be 24/7. Driveway entry/exit points adjacent to the works will remain open for local residents. Traffic Controllers will be onsite to monitor and assist road users during working hours.

Detours:

  • Northbound using Leitch Road (East of Government Road)
  • Eastbound on Leitch Road, southbound on Collins Road, eastbound on Dixon Avenue, northbound on Hocart Road, and westbound on Herbert Road.

Uduc RoadUduc Road will be closed between Harper Street and Herbert Road on Tuesday, 23 June from 9am and 2.30pm.

This closure will facilitate road patching works at the Uduc Road rail level crossing.

Traffic management will be in place to ensure worker and public safety.

Please follow detours in place to safely navigate the closure.
