Stage 3
The Shire, in conjunction with the Department of Communities, provided funding for Stage 3 of this project.
An additional 12 independent low-cost living units and an integrated community facilities area at the Brunswick River Cottages site is now complete.
The rental units are for Indigenous people over 55 and over 65’s for non-Indigenous people.
The project will assist in meeting the accommodation needs of our ageing population and people experiencing difficulties accessing housing in regional Western Australia.
The Project is funded by the Shire of Harvey in conjunction with the Department of Communities’ Social Housing Economic Recovery Package Grants Program.
This project was completed in July 2025.
