The Shire of Harvey is proud to announce the winners of the 2026 Shire of Harvey Art Prize, one of the region’s longest-running celebrations of art and creativity.
Each year, the Art Prize brings together talented artists from across the Harvey Region and the South West, showcasing diverse artistic perspectives inspired by landscape, community and personal connection to place.
The Shire of Harvey congratulates:
- Overall Award – Everlyn Sturges with The Everlasting Shed
- Emerging Artist Award – Susie Denton with Colour Me Classical
- Resident Award – Sandie Schroder with On It’s Way
- Youth Award – Ashley Andrew with Under The Surface
- Overall Commendation – Jennifer Blandford with Outback Oz
- Emerging Commendation – Kate Holmes with Shadowed Refuge
- Resident Commendation – Colleen Martin with Held by the Horizon
Thank you to every artist who entered the 2026 Shire of Harvey Art Prize. With so many high-quality submissions received, the exhibition is a testament to the creativity, talent and passion of artists from the Harvey Region and beyond.
The 2026 Shire of Harvey Art Prize exhibition is open to the public until Tuesday, 10 March 2026 at the former Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, located at 78 Young Street in Harvey.
Entry to the exhibition is free.
While visiting the exhibition, members of the community are invited to cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award.
