If your pet is missing, please contact Ranger Services on 9729 0333. If Rangers do come into contact with a lost or wandering pet, scanning for a microchip is automatically carried out and contact is made to owners from those microchip details. It is important to keep microchipping and registration details up to date to allow for the timely reunion of your pet. If these details are not available, or contact cannot be made with the pet owner, it may be necessary for your pet to be impounded.
All impounded animals are to be claimed by the owner and are subjected to a daily poundage fee and sustenance; fees are listed in the Shire’s Schedule of Fees and Charges.
Once payment has been made at the Australind or Harvey Administration Offices, owners need to make an appointment with our Ranger Team to claim their pet.
