Have Your Say: Help Shape the Future of Our Local Economy!
The Shire of Harvey is developing a new Economic Development Strategy. The strategy will aim to ensure sustainable economic growth across the Harvey Region until 2030.
It will guide how we support business growth, attract new investment, and create local jobs for years to come.
If you own or operate a business in the Harvey Region, your insights will help shape a strong, resilient, and thriving local economy! Your involvement is vital as economic success depends on the coordinated action of all types and sizes of business, investors, residents, all levels of government and more.
Background
In 2020, the Shire released the Shire of Harvey Economic Development Strategy (2020-2025).
Within five years, we made great strides towards the Strategy’s ambitious vision.
However, the current economic environment is very different from 2020.
The Economic Development Strategy 2026-2030 will cement and reset our priorities to ensure the Harvey Region can achieve the aim of being a leading Australian region.
