Do you have?
- Previous supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge and problem solving skills in construction, maintenance and operation methods and practices of irrigation infrastructure
- Good computer literacy skills

The role is responsible for undertaking projects and tasks in the irrigation development and maintenance of the Shire’s parks, gardens, sporting ovals and other public infrastructure to set standards in a safe and efficient manner.

Benefits and Conditions
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government Officers’ (WA) Award 2021 with a salary payable of Level 7 ($92,816 to $97,556) per annum depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits and conditions include:
- Superannuation of 12 per cent occupational superannuation from date of commencement, with an opportunity that the Shire will match an employee’s voluntary contribution to their nominated plan provided that employee contributes an amount of at least 5 per cent or 6 per cent of their own salary.
- Full-time position, located at Harvey Depot.
- One day off is available after every 19 working days, rostered days off cannot be accumulated.
- Four weeks paid annual leave, including a 17.5 per cent leave loading.
- Mobile phone for business use in accordance with Shire Policy.
- Free membership to the Leschenault Leisure Centre, the Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre and the Dr Peter Topham Memorial Swimming Pool.
- A medical examination and current police clearance will be required prior to appointment, costs to be reimbursed by the Shire.
