The restricted burning period dates are subject to change due to variable weather conditions. Permits to burn are required for the restricted burning period and must be obtained from the Bush Fire Control Officer.

Businesses in the Shire can now apply to receive FOGO and Recycling Bins for a commercial kerbside collection service.
Due to the success of the FOGO bin roll-out to residential properties, the Shire is extending this service to commercial operators for a kerbside collection service of FOGO Bins and Recycling Bins.
Since July 2020 there has been 4,500 tonnes of waste diverted from landfill, of this 3,300 tonnes has been FOGO material and 1,300 has been recycling, this is a 64 per cent diversion from landfill.
If you wish to apply for a FOGO Bin or a Recycling Bin you can complete the commercial bin form .
