About the artist

Nate Gardiner is a multi-disciplinary artist based in the South West. He has arts facilitated for AACHWA (Aboriginal Arts Centre Hub Western Australia), Barking Gecko Theatre Company, Awesome Arts and Arts on the Move.

For twelve months, Nate was the resident In House Artist at BREC, leading projects including BREC’s Young Voices and Kick Start My Arts. Nate also worked alongside BREC’s Elder in Residence and ex-Board Member Aunty Lynette (Doc) Narkle’s 2023 production of DONKALONK.

Last year Nate’s major project was Noongar Art’s Programme Fashion for Bunbury Regional Art Gallery, where he currently teaches visual arts classes and undertakes various artistic engagement projects.

Bring your ornaments along with you to the performance of The Snowman, in concert at BREC on Sunday, 30 November to hang on the BREC Community Christmas Tree and enjoy other festive foyer activities.

There may even be a seasonal surprise or two in store!
