Stage 3
The Shire in conjunction with the Department of Communities, are providing funding for Stage 3 of the Brunswick River Cottages project.
This final stage includes an additional 12 independent low cost living units and an integrated community area at the Brunswick River Cottages address.
The rental units are for Indigenous people over 55 and over 65's for non-Indigenous people.
The project will assist in meeting the accommodation needs of our ageing population and people experiencing difficulties accessing housing in regional Western Australia.
This stage of the Project is funded by the Shire of Harvey in conjunction with the Department of Communities’ Social Housing Economic Recovery Package Grants Program. The building contract was carried out by Bunbury based company Prosser Built.
The Project was completed in July and new residents will occupy their homes in August 2025.
