    Coastal Management Plan

The Shire of Harvey advises that the Coastal Management Plan for the entire Shire of Harvey coastline has been approved. Council resolved to prepare a Coastal Management Plan to provide a framework for future decision making and management regarding the Shire’s coastal areas. Public consultation provided an opportunity for Council to obtain feedback from the public on the document. Any comment or feedback was considered and any recommended change that result from Council consideration was made available prior to the document being finally approved.

The document itself is quite comprehensive and subsequently full copies of the entire document are available for viewing during office hours at Australind and Harvey Council Offices and at the Australind and Harvey Libraries during their opening times.

Any questions relating to the project can be directed to Chris Portlock, Planning Officer on (08) 97290351
