We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client-Side Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing projects and directly engaging with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure that deliverables are in line with the defined scope and budget.
Position Requirements
To be considered for this role you will need the following:
- Tertiary qualification/s in project management and/or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated prior experience in Client-Side Project Management.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of project management frameworks and systems.
- Demonstrate strong judgement skills to establish goals and priorities and operate independently with minimal guidance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to establish rapport and work closely with different levels of management, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of computer literacy, with the ability to develop and maintain word documents spreadsheets, and the use of online applications.

Benefits and Conditions
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government Officers’ (WA) Award 2021 with a salary range between Level 8 ($99,635) to Level 9 ($113,680) per annum, depending on qualifications and experience and benefits such as:
- Superannuation of 12 per cent occupational superannuation from date of commencement, with an opportunity that the Shire will match an employee’s voluntary contribution to their nominated plan provided that employee contributes an amount of at least 5 per cent or 6 per cent of their own salary.
- Professional memberships up to the value of $1,000.
- Full-time position, one rostered day off is available after every 19 working days. Rostered days off cannot be accumulated.
- Private use of a Shire vehicle in accordance with Shire Policy.
- Mobile phone for business use in accordance with Shire Policy.
- Four weeks paid annual leave, including a 17.5 per cent leave loading.
- Free membership to the Leschenault Leisure Centre, the Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre and the Dr Peter Topham Memorial Swimming Pool.
- A medical examination and a current police clearance will be required prior to appointment, costs to be reimbursed by the Shire.
