We invite you to submit your application for the full-time position of Technical Officer - Assets. This role is responsible for assisting the Manager Assets in providing administrative, operational and technical support toward developing and maintaining asset information systems. The position also involves providing technical advice and support with regards to infrastructure assets and assist in the execution and delivery of the Shire’s Infrastructure Asset Management Plans.

Benefits and Conditions
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government Officers’ Award 2021 with a salary payable for this position of Level 5 ($78,230) to Level 6 ($88,409) per annum, depending on qualifications and experience and benefits such as:
- Superannuation of 11.5 per cent occupational superannuation from date of commencement, with an opportunity that the Shire will match an employee’s voluntary contribution to their nominated plan provided that employee contributes an amount of at least 5 per cent or 6 per cent of their own salary.
- Full-time position located at the Harvey Depot, however, may be required to work at other locations throughout the Shire.
- One rostered day off is available after every 19 working days. Rostered days off cannot be accumulated.
- Four weeks paid annual leave, including a 17.5% leave loading.
- Free membership to the Leschenault Leisure Centre, the Harvey Recreation and Cultural Centre and the Dr Peter Topham Memorial Swimming Pool.
- A medical examination and a current police clearance will be required prior to appointment, costs to be reimbursed by the Shire.
