Step into a world of creativity and craftsmanship on Saturday, 9 September at The Village Artisan Fair.
The event will feature over 40 stalls from South West creatives, showcasing a range of paints, handcrafted jewellery and other unique homemade treasures.
With multiple areas to explore, including Henton Cottage, and the Australind Hall, get your hands on one-of-a-kind handmade treasures and support local artisans.
Leading artists will be providing free arts activities in a family friendly environment.
Charlotte White
Charlotte White is an exciting contemporary South West artist who experiments with layered oils, creating stunning realistic botanical paintings and artworks. Join Charlotte at The Village Artisan Fair to create a book-inspired art installation near the Australind Library using sustainable and recycled art materials.
Charlotte is well known for her installation at Bunbury’s Tree St Art Safari and art workshops at Cuprum Distillery and Market Eating House.
Community members of all ages are invited to come along and join in.
Location: Entry to the Australind Library
Time: 9am to 3pm, visitors can join anytime. Weather dependent, the art installation with remain onsite for the month of September.
Elaine Clocherty
Elaine will be creating a site specific artwork using natural materials.
The natural material art installation and workshop by leading artist Elaine Clocherty (of Sculpture by the Sea Bondi and Taiwan’s Guanda Sculpture Exhibition fame) is your ‘must see’ activity at The Village Artisan Fair. As part of the Lost and Found Festival, Clocherty will work in consultation with local community, including students from Parkfield Primary School and local Elder Dennis Jetta, to create a mind-blowing art piece from natural materials that is specific to the Australind area.
Community members are also invited to come along to help hand form a vessel using air dry clay.
Elaine recently contributed to the amazing “Balance” installation at the Nannup Flower and Garden Festival.

Reclaim The Void
The Community is invited to join the Shire of Harvey Rug Hub, to work on the completion of rugs for the Reclaim the Void project.
Location: The Rug Hub will be on the grassed area near the community centre.
Time: 9am to 3pm, visitors can join anytime.
The Village Artisan Fair is hosted by South West Pop Up Shops & Events.
It is part of the 2023 Lost and Found Festival.
