The purpose built vacation care facilities at Leschenault Leisure Centre offer school holiday programs for the community.
Leschenault Leisure Centre has been able to significantly improve its purpose built vacation care facilities thanks to a Community Child Care Fund (CCCF) – Program Sustainability Grant from the Australian Government.
During the last three years, the $80,000 grant has enabled upgrades to the facilities and the purchase of equipment such as iPads and furniture.
The final stage of the project included installation of a complete cinema system, two accessible water coolers, additional air conditioners and designated chill out zones.
