Clearing of wetlands has commenced on the southern boundary of Kingston Estate.
The Shire's contractor will be engaged from Monday, 22 November to Wednesday, 24 November clearing the wetlands along Braidwood Drive on the southern boundary of Kingston Estate.
Declared weeds, including blackberry and arum lily and environmental weeds such as duckweed will be mechanically removed, allowing the water to run back into the waterway.
This activity will improve water quality and increase the resilience of the ecosystem.
