23 Nov 2021

A video conference was held last week between students from Harvey Senior High School and Japanese city Moka as part of the ongoing friendship relationship.

Last week, students from Harvey Senior High School held a video conference with students from the Japanese city Moka. The students discussed similarities and differences between their schools, spanning from lunch food to school activities followed by a question and answer session.

Earlier this year, the Supervisor of Board of Education Moka approached the Shire of Harvey requesting a connection with Harvey Senior High School.

The proposed friendship city relationship aims to enhance cross-cultural understanding, facilitate economic development and establish goodwill and friendly relations between both regions and countries.
