There are no fire restrictions on burning until 1 November 2025. However, if the Fire Danger Rating is High or above and/or a Total Fire Ban has been put in place then no burning is permitted.

The planned power outage will affect Karragarup Play Space services from Monday, 13 September.
The Shire will be undertaking planned power upgrades around the Leschenault Estuary area in Australind from Monday, 13 September for approximately one week (weather dependent).
These works will affect the Karragarup Play Space at the Ridley Place foreshore and the playground services. Barbecues, and playground and toilet lights will be isolated from the power supply.
Out of order signs will be in place throughout the playground.
