Our Libraries start the festive season with these great Christmas-themed activities.
Combined Groups Christmas Celebration - Thursday, 1 December at Harvey Library
Harvey Library’s annual Christmas celebration for regular groups will be held at the library at 1.30pm on Thursday, 1 December. All members of Knit and Natter, Scrabble, Writers Group, Parky Pals, Lunch with the Locals and Bookchat are invited to come along for afternoon tea.
Australind Reads Party – Friday, 2 December at 3.30pm at Australind Library
Australind Library will be celebrating all reading warriors' efforts in meeting the reading challenge for this year! Food will be provided and the winners of the reading challenge competition will be drawn.
Letters to Santa - 1 December to 16 December at Australind and Harvey libraries
Harvey and Australind Libraries will have a direct postal service between Harvey/Australind and the North Pole. Bring your letter to the library or write one at the library and post it in the special red box. Santa will make every effort to get a reply to you in the mail before Christmas Day!
Rhymetime in the Park – Friday, 9 December, Australind Foreshore
Australind Library will be celebrating the last Rhymetime for 2022 at Ridley Place on Friday, 9 December at 10am. There will be plenty to do, including face painting and a visit from Santa!
End of Year Storytime Party - Wednesday, 14 December at Harvey Library
Harvey Library's final Storytime of the year will be held outside the Harvey Library underneath the trees on Wednesday, 14 December at 9.30am. Santa will join us in the park for songs, stories and presents.
Christmas Craft - 17 to 23 December at Australind and Harvey libraries
Visit Harvey or Australind libraries from Saturday, 17 December to Friday, 23 December anytime during opening hours to get creative with glitter and glue.
