A Candidate Information Webinar has been made available for residents who are interested in becoming a Councillor. The Webinar was held in August and hosted by WA Local Government Association (WALGA) State President Cr Karen Chappel. It featured presentations from WA Electoral Commission representatives, Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries representatives and WALGA staff. Participants explored key processes and roles in becoming a Councillor and took part in a comprehensive Q&A session. A recording of the webinar, including slides and graphics, can be found here.
