The rock protection wall along Leschenault Estuary between Christina Street and Rothesay Crescent has been restored.
Winter storms, high tides and strong westerly winds were eroding the gravel shoulder and exposing the bitumen seal. Shire crews have enhanced the wall with fresh granite stone to safeguard road pavement that was starting to undermine and subside
The gravel shoulder has also been reinstated with a narrow seal to accomodate edgeline marking. Would you like to report wear and tear to the Shire of Harvey? Visit our Report It page.
