The Shire of Harvey is urging residents to become familiar with State Government e-Rideable guidelines. e-Rideables are single-person electric devices like scooters, skateboards or hoverboards that are not capable of travelling faster than 25km/h on level ground. Persons under the age of 16 are not permitted to use e-Rideables unless they are on private property or places that aren't public roads or pathways.

When using a separated path, e-Rideables should use the bicycle part. It is illegal to ride in the section marked for pedestrians. The community can learn more about e-Rideables on the Road Safety Commission website.
