Temporary closure of Coalfields Road Level Crossing

Arc Infrastructure, the manager of the State’s freight rail network, will be undertaking a critical upgrade of the railway line which requires the temporary closure of the level crossing at Coalfields Road, Roelands. 

When: 12.01am on Saturday, 9 December until 11.59pm Sunday, 10 December.
Roads Affected:

• Coalfields Road between Gastaldo Road and South West Highway.
• Government Road between Coalfields Road and South West Highway.

Detour: For all vehicles via Gastaldo Road to Mornington Road.

Local residents of Government Road, and the closed section of Coalfields Road, will be granted access into and out of their properties via approved detours.

Heavy vehicles are advised to consult HVS Update 44-2023 for advice on allowable access during the closure period.
