The Shire of Harvey’s image and video library is a free collection of high-quality and professional imagery and clips that showcase the Region’s assets.
Media and tourism stakeholders can now show off the Harvey Region’s best angles with a newly launched tool designed to attract more visitors. The Shire of Harvey’s image and video library is a free collection of high-quality and professional imagery and clips that showcase the Region’s natural wonders, including beaches, hinterland, jarrah forest and waterways. It also features local attractions, venues, and energic, fun shots of community events. The initiative is designed to help stakeholders capture the attention of visitors and contribute to a cohesive, appealing brand for the Harvey Region. Shire President Michelle Campbell said the library was a key part of the Shire’s plans to increase the Region’s digital presence and boost the visitor economy. “We know a picture is worth 1000 words and that is especially true in destination marketing,” the Shire President said. “The Shire has had an incredible content library for visitor promotion for quite some time and now hundreds of professionally shot videos and photographs have been unlocked. “This fits right in with the Shire’s Tourism Road Map 2031, which sets our course towards a booming visitor economy. “The Shire’s Destination Harvey Region team have been very busy in this space. “Currently, they are working to get the new library into the hands of trade and media partners, businesses, event organisers, and community organisations.” The library is organised by category and includes images and footage of townsites, food and beverage, art and culture, nature and adventure, as well as events and accommodation. It will be frequently updated and accessible 24/7 for content creators promoting the Harvey Region and for local businesses looking to enhance their promotion. Check out the library
