There are no fire restrictions on burning until 1 November 2025. However, if the Fire Danger Rating is High or above and/or a Total Fire Ban has been put in place then no burning is permitted.

The Roelands/Olive Hill Volunteer Bushfire Brigade recently received a brand new light tanker, replacing its previous vehicle as part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen local emergency response capabilities.
This new addition enhances the brigade’s capacity to respond swiftly and effectively to bushfire incidents in the region. The upgraded tanker is equipped with modern safety and operational features, ensuring both improved reliability and protection for the dedicated volunteers who serve the community.
Community Emergency Services Manager, Nick Mellowship, delivered a comprehensive vehicle induction session to brigade Captain Luke Wright. The training included familiarisation with the tanker's equipment, operational procedures, and safety protocols, ensuring the crew is fully prepared to integrate the new vehicle into service.
